OUR DINING NOOK AND IKEA HACK BUFFET
i’m so happy to share some photos of our new dining nook! our apartment is only 650 square feet, so a large table was just out of the question. after scouring the internet and finding all these little pieces, the space is finally complete! i’m also very happy with the buffet i made with the ikea besta!

for this buffet, there really isn’t a need for a tutorial, but i will give you a push you in the right direction! first off, i went with this besta frame in white. i also got the high gloss white doors and  white glass top. ikea has been changing things around, so when you go in store, there is now someone who can print off a list of things you need and where to find them! (i loved it!) i also got these legs, but after finding the most perfect vintage midcentury legs, i just used the long metal piece that screws into the preexisting holes on the cabinet. with some epoxy, glue the pieces into each leg, about halfway down. after the epoxy has dried, simply screw them in!

now for the hardware, i found these gorgeous gems and drilled a hole into the doors to attach. easy! i think the total for this buffet was a little under $200, which is well below some of the other midcentury pieces i found. #winning

Yes! So amazing, I always love a good Ikea hack! The Bright Lights Lab colors are always so good and I love how you incorporated the other hues with them.
