I love a good rug more than anyone, but I always have trouble finding the right color or style, and it’s even harder to find one within my budget. That’s where Sukhi comes in. When

Sukhi Rugs

reached out to me, I was so excited! They have the most gorgeous collections made all over the world, and the prices were right on point.

Sukhi simply cuts out the middleman and with no warehouse or stores, the price is considerably lower and in that “I can afford this” bracket. It’s kind of the best news ever. Each rug is made to order and arrives directly from the country of origin. Honestly, it’s a great feeling to know you are literally buying a handmade one-of-a-kind piece of art. Score!

Not only are they affordable, but the women are all insanely talented and deeply care about creating unique and amazing works of art.

Here

you can even meet the makers in Nepal and learn about the workshops and view the process of making the felt ball. It’s one of my favorites! If you are in the market for a bold and colorful rug, this one is for you. The rugs are also made in Morocco, India, and Turkey, each country unique in its own process and aesthetic.

The

Cemre Rug

caught my eye within minutes! I’m a sucker for pink and this kilim patchwork rug from Turkey was all I ever wanted! Kilim rugs are picking up steam in the design world right now and I see them everywhere. These ones are made from goat hair and cotton which provides a one-of-a-kind look. I’m also a huge fan of the flatweave knotting style. The Cemre Rug was exactly as pictured and arrived before it was supposed to, and that’s always good thing. The pink rug made everything in my space pop, while adding such a great texture. I found these rugs work really well in rustic or modern settings and I love how it looks paired with my wood side table and console.

I’m so happy with this rug and I love the company and everything they stand for. I can tell you this much, my rug collection from Sukhi has just begun!

So what do you think? What other colors did you like? I think I have my eyes set on

this

one next! It just looks so soft, warm, and inviting!
